Day Sailing
Looking for a unique way to spend a summer day? Step aboard Providence, an 80’ historical tall ship for a calm cruise on the ocean. The welcoming crew will take you on a casual and fun sailing experience. Take advantage of the opportunity to help hoist the sails or sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful views. (24 Guests Max). Food & Beverages not included. Please feel free to bring your own cooler with picnic. We also recommend bringing a water bottle and a sweater / blanket (as it can get cool on the water).

Multi-Day Gulf Island Sailing Adventure
Are you an Adventure Seeker? Sail with Providence as Guest Crew on a 2 night / 3 day adventure from Sidney to Pender Island to Salt Spring Island and back. The Gulf Islands National Park Reserve is a lush paradise of rare ecosystems basking in a Mediterranean-like climate. The natural beauty and calm waters create a magical back drop for a sailing adventure. Trip Itinerary - 2 Nights / 3 Days

9 am departure from Port Sidney Marina. Day Sail to Port Browning Marina Resort on Pender Island. Night one at Port Browning.

Depart Pender Island and Day Sail to Ganges Harbour on Salt Spring Island. Spend the afternoon / evening in Ganges and overnight in the harbour.

Depart Salt Spring Island and Day Sail back to Sidney. Approximate arrival at Port Sidney Marina is 4 pm.
What’s Included?

This option provides the opportunity to not only sail by day, but to also enjoy Providence by night and sleep aboard in her quaint accommodations. There are 3-4 crew and can be up to 10 guests total onboard overnight. For this voyage, you join the boat as “Guest Crew” and the accommodations are authentic Crews Quarters (not private) with shared head, shared common area and kitchen. There is one double cabin but the rest are bunks. Pillows, bottom sheet and pillow cases provided (guests are to bring own sleeping bags). The bunk aboard experience includes provisions for breakfast and lunch. You can choose to bring food and cook / eat aboard with the Crew for dinner or go ashore to eat at restaurants (dinners not included). The tour is not able to accommodate special dietary needs so if there is something particular required, guests must bring these food items with them.

This option provides the opportunity for you to enjoy Providence by day and book your own accommodations to experience the island life by night. There are many fantastic B&Bs at our Ports of call to choose from. Lunch included. Breakfast and dinners are not included.

Jump on the ship for one leg of the trip. Transport only (pack your own food / beverages). Options are Sidney to Pender Island, Pender to Salt Spring Island or Salt Spring Island to Sidney.
